More Optio
for treating pine beetle infested trees
Those landowners who attended the pine beetle workshop in Stove Prairie February 21 will have received the forest management manual, Saving Your Forest. That manual contains a number of options for treating beetle infested trees.
We mentioned in the manual that we would be sending you more helpful and practical information as we came across it. Since every landowner will have different priorities to consider for their property, we will try to provide you with a variety of options to consider.. Below is a link to a U.S. Forest Service bulletin that you may wish to print out and add to the options already in your manual.
